"fabulous"

Ben hosted a fancy party last night. His goal for the food was that it would look better than it tasted, but man oh man was it ever good. My favorite were the puff pastries with brie, pear and thyme on top. The cucumber squares with smoked salmon spread and chives were a close second. He picked Jo and I up early to help him put everything together and basically be his slaves. I loved it though. He lost his sheet that had which wines went with which appetizers, so we basically just drank a bit everything. It was a lovely night.

The Campbells had to leave early because of Helene's kidneys but looked fierce for the time they were there. Also, they're just the best in general - xox -
